CES Shows Little News For The Xbox
Robbie Batch presented the Xbox 360 portion of the Microsoft Keynote, Wednesday. Though the agenda was pretty light. The only games presented were Halo Wars and Halo 3: ODST, which is not all that new to most gamers.
Another addition to the Xbox lineup was a new channel for Xbox Live called “Primetime.” Best known for offering online participation in game shows, most speculate that this is just a component of the NXE, New Xbox Experience, that simply wasn’t ready in time.
They also presented some of the games that were a hit for the system in 2008, including, Gears of War: 2, Fable II, and Fallout 3. Microsoft closed out the keynote with Steve Ballmer and news from Windows Mobile, Windows 7, and Windows Automotive.
There is more CES to come, although it seems pretty dead for gamers.
