Sony says No to PSP2
Hopeful plans for a new generation of the PSP can now be put to rest. Sony Computer Entertainment Europe president David Reeves clarifies:
“There are currently no plans for a PSP2. I go to Tokyo quite a lot and no one has referred to it – I think they have their hands full at the moment.”
“We just launched the PSP-3000 so we are still focused on this generation of the platform.”

Rumours like this will never go away. How many times did the 360 port of MGS4 come up even after Konami outright refused that it will happen?
Sony will make a PSP2, eventually. And unfortunately, until they do I expect to see the rumour pop up every once in a while.
Good point…in time the PSP2 will come….even if it’s not entitled that.
