Halo 3 Prequel Expansion coming Fall 2009
Microsoft has announced at the Tokyo Game Show that a Halo 3 expansion, Halo Recon, is now being developed by Bungie Studios, set for release some time Fall 2009.
This expansion will act as a prequel to Halo 3 taking place during the events that lead Master Chief back to New Mombasa. But instead of playing as the all mighty Master Chief again, you will be playing the role of a, unnamed as of yet, UNSC Orbital Drop Shock Trooper.
The expansion will include a new campaign mode, four player co-op, new multi player offerings such as exclusive maps and new Forge options.
