Rock Band 2’s 20 Free DLC Leaked
When Harmonix announced the list of songs for Rock Band 2 back at E3 (you can check out the PR here), they touted that Rock Band 2 will come with 80 songs on disc with an additional 20 songs available as free DLC this fall. Since then they have been pretty silent on what these 20 songs may be.
Well now Onslaught_fei, over on the Rock Band Forums, posted a list of the 20 songs that we will be rocking out to. Apparently he got the list from PAX saying, “PAX was setup yesterday and will continues to be polished today. Its open to the public tomorrow”. For now though until we get official confirmation from Harmonix this is still a rumor, but you can check out the list below and let us now what you think.

wow…against me! really has become the very thing they set out to destroy….as far as im concerned, the whole band was killed in a car accident in 2006.

I am fairly happy with this list. I agree that some 3 doors down would be cool, but they do have sublime in the list and that is worth it for me.
4 songs on that list I like, a few bands I hate, and doesn’t seem like a legit list altogether, I like the other fake list a tad better, but sublime and qotsa should be included
this list is bull shit. The Hot Hot Heat song just came out for DLC. so that rules out the fact that the list can’t be real if a song already came out from the list and it wasn’t free. Check your sources dumb ass! I’ll wait until I hear straight from Harmonix what the songs before listening to this shit.
Hey Bulletstorm no need for the swearing and name calling. As i mentioned in the post this was a rumor that was posted on the Rock Band forums by Onslaught_fei, which I posted here over a month ago before the Hot Hot Heat song was announced and released. I also stated in the post, the same as you did, that until their is official word from Harmonix this list is simply a rumor.

to however said that the list is bullcrap, well… look at it this way. Look how many songs from this list we’ve gotten. Bad to the Bone, Push It, Bandages, Cream and Bastards Rise, Stop!, Bandages, and All Right Now.
My thoughts are that this was a legit list, and that harmonix caught word of the leak, so they started releasing the songs as part of the weekly DLC to throw people off and keep them guessing and excited for the 20 free songs, which in all likelyhood are going to be some of that list, along with the songs we would’ve gotten this week if it hadn’t been for the ones that were on this list being released.
Well I for one enjoy the wait. Considering that Dammit, Holiday in Cambodia (The sole reason i bought GH3) and Somebody Told Me are HOPEFULLY coming. I can only (assuming this has some legitimacy to it…) hope that more great songs are added to replace the already released ones. Perhaps some Dillinger Escape Plan? Lustra? Bloc Party? More Old School Metallica?
Harmonix has ALWAYS had some bad ass music the the games they make, so they’ll please 90% of us. Except those calling bullshit.
I would have liked to have seen more Slipknot personally, and although there are many songs that I don’t know, I’m sure it will cause me to be on my toes for the random events…
