I think those who played it back in 97 and hold it in their hearts as a revered title will have no problem dealing with its now-inadequacies, but more modern gamers might not be struck with the same overall impact. I'm not sure it's as accessible as it once was given all the improvements in regards to control in newer FF instalments... Perhaps this is the lead up to a remake? We can but hope.
