Rockstar has always been known as a blunt company not afraid to stir up some trouble. At it again, the second DLC for GTA IV has been announced. The follow-up to The Lost and the Damned has a much more fabulous title, The Ballad of Gay Tony. Naturally, message boards and news sites are abuzz with talk regarding this title, despite the fact Rockstar hasn’t released a single video, teaser or screenshot of the content. Gay Tony is enough.

The game’s playable character is Luis Lopez, a “part-time hoodlum and full-time assistant to legendary nightclub impresario Tony Prince” (or “Gay Tony”), the bar guy who you may or may not recall appearing several times in the standard game. I, no doubt like you, was hoping for a homosexual James Gandolfini.

The game will be revealed at E3, and will be released via Xbox Live in the fall for a fairly hefty $19.99. The DLC will also be sold in retail outlets along with The Lost and the Damned in a compilation titled Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City, for $40. The retail bundle will not include GTA IV – and get this – won’t even require GTA IV to play.

If only we could enable Gay Tony and his men to purchase some clothing from Stefan in Saints Row’s elegant boutique Impressions, everything would be aces and rainbows.
