Dead Rising 2 Trailer & Multiplayer
Months ago, Dead Rising 2 was confirmed. We learned it was not just to be a 360 release, but available for PC and PS3, too. They told us it would take place in Fortune City (Vegas), the gambling center of America, after the virus had spread across the country from its roots in the Willamette Parkview Mall.
Last week, we found out that the main character of Dead Rising’s name is Chuck. Not Norris. Not Woolery. Not even Wagon. It is Chuck Greene, a name which is on par with the clever name of photojournalist Frank West we know and love from the first installment.
Today, even more delicious zombie-pounding news came out. First up is the first full trailer for the title, complete with Mr. Chuck Greene smashing zombies with roulette tables, wearing a moose head, slicing zombies with a dual chainsaw stick and drinking orange cocktails with a slice of lime. He’s a beastly sports freak in a track jacket that looks like he is really pissed these undead SOBs are ruining perfectly good rugby time.
As if chainsaw handlebars weren’t enough, we also got official word that Greene jeans will be involved with some type of multiplayer joy, allowing you to tear up Fortune City with your best un-undead pal. There are no specifics about how in-depth the multiplayer will be or how it will work, but at least we know it’ll be there in some form.
Now if only they’d tell us whether or not there will be a secret hidden Mega Blaster…
The first game was wonderful on X360, the next one must be better…
