Ahoy there, Addicted Gamers! My name is Jeff Saporito. As was recently announced, I was brought on board with the site to fill the role of Senior Editor. That sure sounds fancy, and I’m happy to be here.

I felt it necessary to give a brief introduction and talk about how I hope to help this site grow into a prime spot for all gamers. As was mentioned, I have a B.S. in Communication, Media & Technology. I graduated college in 2007 and have since been doing nothing but writing, web work and gaming. While those things have been my job since 2007, I’ve naturally been doing all three for as long as I can remember. A few months ago I started Goatmoose, focusing more on writing about the things that interest me most. And now I’m here, and honored to have been given the opportunity. I also like coffee, have a toy poodle named Luna (after Luna Lovegood – seriously) and have a fear of other people putting their head on my pillow. But enough about all that…

What my involvement really means is that every day you will be guaranteed to find new material here at Addicted Gamer. I’ve been hired to write, and write I shall. Hopefully every time you visit the site, there will be something new for you to see, enjoy, comment on, and share. We’re trying to create a community, not just an information dump or a copycat site. And with that, I encourage you to participate by posting to articles, sending me emails, and otherwise letting me know what you think. Have a suggestion? I’d love to hear it. Have a complaint?
