Diablo 3 will have many expansions

While no official plans have hit the wire, there is some solid pointers that Diablo 3 will have annual expansion releases. During an interview with MTV, Mike Morhaime said:

I don’t think Blizzard will ever be able to do sequels of products like a “Diablo III” or “Diablo IV” on an annual basis, but we might be able to do expansions to those games close to annually.

Now that is a pretty direct reference so I believe it is safe to bet on.
