Damage Coming to Gran Turismo 5 Prologue?
Our friends over at AutoGaming.net posted this lovely photo of a damaged Renault Clio V6 from Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, which came from a forum post by Rikusaki on the GameSport forums. Could this really mean that damage is finally coming to GT5 Prologue? I hope so, but to decide I put on my Addicted Gamer Detective hat, and opened the photo up to look at the meta data. What I discovered was that this photo was taken by a Sony Ericsson K850i phone and saved (or modified – who knows?) with Adobe Photoshop CS2 on Windows. Please keep in mind that the meta data can be edited at anytime to make it look authentic.
Real or Fake? Looks like we will have to wait for more on this one.
UPDATE: Although car damage is coming, this photo has been confirmed a fake.
As far as I know, the fact that damage is coming to GT5 is true. It was announced back in April.

More specifically, is the image real or fake? I have no idea. I suppose it could be either – though why would Polyphony go to the trouble of making it seem like it was a picture that was taken? Or then again maybe they would, as they are all about the realism.
