Harmonix is working on music creator, dont expect it soon though
One of the great features that is coming to Guitar Hero: World Tour is the ability to create custom songs. When this feature was announced many people thought that Harmonix would follow up with a similar feature for Rock Band 2, but with the game releasing in less then a month, there will be no such feature in Rock Band 2… well at least at launch that is.
MTV spoke with Harmonix about their plans, if any, to include a music creation mode in Rock Band. Below is their response:
“We think we can do something really ambitious and really great that’s going to speak across all the users of the game, not just hardcore users – and that will result in some awesome stuff…So Harmonix is going to do something great with it [music creation] down the road, we didn’t want to rush it out and do it half-assed. This is definitely a full-on project for us. You’ll hear more about it soon.”
This is very good news for you creative guys/girls out their. We will keep you posted when we here more info.
